- A puppy is considered unfit for purchase under the law when a licensed veterinarian determines that the dog has an illness, a congenital malformation that adversely affects the health of the animal, or the animal exhibits symptoms of a contagious or infectious disease. Any injury sustained or illness contracted after 30 days of receiving your pet will not cause that animal to be considered unfit.
-If your puppy is certified as unfit for purchase, the seller must offer one of the following remedies. One remedy is the right to return the puppy for a full refund including the costs associated with the veterinarian's certification that the animal is unfit for purchase. A second remedy is the exchange for an equivalently-valued puppy plus reasonable veterinary costs. The third remedy is the right to retain the puppy and receive a reimbursement for veterinary services from a licensed veterinarian for the purpose of curing or attempting to cure the dog. This fee shall not exceed the purchase price of the puppy and does not include any fee not related to the certification of the puppy's unfitness for purchase.
-Consumers have a time limit within which they can invoke the Lemon Law. Consumers have 30 days following the adoption of the puppy or receipt of the printed consumer rights notice that sellers are required to provide, whichever occurs later, to obtain a veterinarian certification of unfitness for purchase. Once the consumer receives notice from the veterinarian that the Puppy is unfit for purchase, that certification must be presented to the seller within three days. The seller will have no more than ten business days to refund, exchange or reimburse the consumer once the dealer receives the signed veterinary certification of unfitness. The seller may contest the claim by the consumer by requiring the consumer to present the animal for examination by a licensed veterinarian designated by the seller.

Shipping your puppy by itself to a new location always sounds cruel and embarrassing, but actually we think it is harder for us than the puppies. With many years of experience in delivering puppies to our clients, we know for a fact that all of the puppies are well taken care of. So if you stop and think about it, the airlines are not going to mistreat the puppies for fear of lawsuit and customer dissatisfaction. We tape puppy food and feeding instructions to the top of the crate and put frozen water in the crate, so it will gradually thaw out for the puppies and the puppies are offered food along the ride.
For the welfare of our puppies, we do NOT allow our dogs to go to their new homes until a minimum of 8 weeks old. In rare cases, we may keep the puppies until 13 or 14 weeks if we feel they are not ready for their new home yet. We will only ship a puppy according to how the puppy is developing. We want you to receive an extremely happy and without any health issues dog. Our vet will have the final say as to when the puppy is ready to travel.
